| CVE-2026-64137 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-13 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: require net admin for CIFS SWN netlink CIFS_GENL_CMD_SWN_NOTIFY is the userspace witness-notify command. The intended sender is the cifs.witness helper, but the generic-netlink operation currently has no capability flag, so any local process can send RESOURCE_CHANGE or CLIENT_MOVE notifications to the in-kernel witness handler. The same family exposes CIFS_GENL_MCGRP_SWN without multicast-group capability flags. Register messages sent to that group include the witness registration id and, for NTLM-authenticated mounts, the username, domain, and password attributes copied from the CIFS session. An unprivileged local process should not be able to join that group and receive those messages. Require CAP_NET_ADMIN for incoming SWN_NOTIFY commands with GENL_ADMIN_PERM, and require CAP_NET_ADMIN over the network namespace for joining the SWN multicast group with GENL_MCAST_CAP_NET_ADMIN. The cifs.witness service runs with the privileges needed for both operations. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64285 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-13 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SEV: Pin source page for write when adding CPUID data for SNP guest When populating a guest_memfd instance with the initial CPUID data for an SNP guest, acquire a writable pin on the source page as KVM will write back the "correct" CPUID information if the userspace provided data is rejected by trusted firmware. Because KVM writes to the source page using a kernel mapping, pinning for read could result in KVM clobbering read-only memory. Note, well-behaved VMMs are unlikely to be affected, as CPUID information is almost always dynamically generated by userspace, i.e. it's unlikely for the CPUID information to be backed by a read-only mapping. | CVE-2026-62688 | 1 Microsoft | 6 Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 25h2 and 3 more | 2026-08-13 | 7.8 High |

| CVE-2025-71390 | 1 Surrealdb | 1 Surrealdb | 2026-08-13 | 8.8 High |
| SurrealDB before 2.2.6, 2.3.6, and 2.1.8 (and 3.0.0-alpha.7 and earlier) fails to validate DNS-resolved hostnames against --deny-net network access restrictions in its http::* functions. An authenticated user can invoke http::<fn>(<url>) with a hostname that resolves to a denied IP address, causing the server to issue the request anyway and return the response. This bypasses network access controls, allowing access to restricted internal endpoints and potentially retrieving or altering sensitive information and credentials, depending on the deployment. | ||||
| CVE-2026-62693 | 1 Microsoft | 6 Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 25h2 and 3 more | 2026-08-13 | 7 High |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows MIDI Service Module allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | ||||
| CVE-2025-71391 | 1 Surrealdb | 1 Surrealdb | 2026-08-13 | 6.5 Medium |
| SurrealDB versions before 2.2.2 contain an uncaught exception vulnerability in the net module that allows authenticated users to crash the database. Attackers can send crafted HTTP queries containing null bytes to the /sql endpoint, causing an unhandled exception that crashes the SurrealDB instance and any dependent applications. | ||||
| CVE-2026-47940 | 2 Adobe, Microsoft | 3 Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Windows | 2026-08-13 | 7.8 High |
| Lightroom Classic is affected by an Integer Overflow or Wraparound vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48441 | 2 Adobe, Microsoft | 3 Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Windows | 2026-08-13 | 8.6 High |
| Lightroom Classic is affected by an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary file system read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to access sensitive files and directories outside the intended access scope. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is changed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48447 | 2 Adobe, Microsoft | 3 Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Windows | 2026-08-13 | 7.7 High |
| Lightroom Classic is affected by an Incorrect Authorization vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploit depends on conditions beyond the attacker's control. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is changed. | ||||

| CVE-2025-71392 | 1 Surrealdb | 1 Surrealdb | 2026-08-13 | 8.0 High |
| SurrealDB before 2.0.5, 2.1.x before 2.1.5, and 2.2.x before 2.2.2 fails to properly escape table and field names in the command-line export command. An authenticated System User with OWNER or EDITOR roles can create tables or fields with malicious names containing SurrealQL. When a higher-privileged user subsequently imports the exported backup, the injected SurrealQL executes, enabling privilege escalation and root-level takeover of the SurrealDB instance. Applications that let users define custom tables or fields are also exposed to a universal second-order SurrealQL injection even when query parameters are sanitized. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73519 | 1 Wolfsoftwaresystemsltd | 1 Wolfstack | 2026-08-13 | 9.8 Critical |
| WolfStack before 25.9.2 contains a hard-coded cluster-authentication secret compiled into every build and published as a constant in src/auth/mod.rs, allowing remote unauthenticated attackers to bypass authentication by supplying this value in the X-WolfStack-Secret header to the require_auth() gate without any session, API key, or user account. Attackers can reach an affected node's management port to enumerate all Docker and LXC containers on the host and execute arbitrary commands as root inside any container via the POST /api/containers/{runtime}/{id}/exec endpoint. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73498 | 1 Sooperset | 1 Mcp-atlassian | 2026-08-13 | 7.7 High |
| MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, confluence_upload_attachment passes its client-supplied file_path directly to open(file_path, "rb") in src/mcp_atlassian/confluence/attachments.py through _upload_attachment_direct() without calling validate_safe_path. An authenticated MCP client can read any file accessible to the server process and exfiltrate it to Confluence as an attachment. If an AI agent can be induced to call the tool through untrusted content, the same flaw can disclose server environment variables such as CONFLUENCE_API_TOKEN and other credentials. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0. | ||||
