| CVE-2026-99098 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-26 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-integrity: fix buffer overflow in inline mode with large tag size In inline mode, dm_integrity_check and dm_integrity_inline_recheck compute the checksum of each block into an on-stack buffer of HASH_MAX_DIGESTSIZE bytes. integrity_sector_checksum pads its result with zeroes up to the tag size, so if the tag size is larger than HASH_MAX_DIGESTSIZE, the padding runs past the end of the buffer. With CONFIG_STACKPROTECTOR the kernel panics in dm_integrity_check on the first read. Enlarge both buffers to hold MAX_TAG_SIZE bytes, as commit b93b6643e9b5 ("dm integrity: fix a crash with unusually large tag size") did for integrity_metadata. Note that this is not a security bug because the buffer overflow can only be triggered by root. | ||||
| CVE-2026-110875 | 1 Adplug Project | 1 Adplug | 2026-10-26 | 6.1 Medium |
| AdPlug through 2.4 contains a heap-based buffer overflow in CksmPlayer::update() in src/ksm.cpp that writes past the fixed databuf[2048] array without bounds checking. Attackers can supply a crafted .ksm module whose notes share one time slot to overflow the heap player object, causing memory corruption and denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111154 | 1 Sezero | 1 Libtimidity | 2026-10-26 | 6.1 Medium |
| libTiMidity through 0.2.8 contains a stack out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the SoundFont loader that allows attackers to corrupt stack memory via unchecked generator operators in parse_gen. Attackers can supply a crafted .sf2 file with out-of-range pgen/igen operator values to write chosen 16-bit values near the stack Layer object, causing crashes and stack memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-105005 | 1 Microsoft | 2 Windows 11 26h1, Windows 11 26h1 | 2026-10-26 | 8.1 High |

| CVE-2026-103634 | 1 Apache | 1 Datasketches | 2026-10-26 | 5.3 Medium |
| Out-of-bounds read and write in the Count-Min sketch deserialization of Apache DataSketches C++ (repo: datasketches-cpp). count_min_sketch::deserialize() did not include the preamble in its input size check, so a truncated sketch could cause a read of up to 16 bytes past the end of the input. In addition, the table size was computed from the serialized number of buckets and number of hash functions in 32-bit arithmetic. A crafted sketch could make it wrap to zero, so that the sketch deserialized with an empty table, and later updates and estimate queries read and wrote outside the heap allocation. This can corrupt heap memory, causing a crash and potentially enabling further exploitation. This issue affects Apache DataSketches C++: from 4.1.0 before 5.3.0. Only applications that deserialize Count-Min sketches from untrusted sources are affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.3.0, which fixes this issue. | ||||

| Out-of-bounds write in Windows GDI allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98912 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-26 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: oss: Reject reads that cannot fit the next event snd_seq_oss_read() checks whether the next queued OSS sequencer event fits in the remaining userspace buffer before removing it from the read queue. The check is inverted. It currently stops when the event is smaller than the remaining buffer, so a normal 4-byte event is not copied for an 8-byte read buffer. Conversely, an 8-byte event can be copied for a smaller read count. Break only when the remaining userspace buffer is smaller than the next event, and report -EINVAL if no complete event has been copied. This prevents an undersized read from looking like end-of-file while leaving the event queued for a later read with a large enough buffer. | ||||
| CVE-2026-116160 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-10-25 | 3.3 Low |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-58 and 7.x before 7.1.2-33 contains a heap-based buffer overflow in the X11 animate operation when processing crafted images. Attackers can supply a malicious image that, when a user runs an X11 animate operation on it, overwrites heap memory and can crash the application. | ||||

| CVE-2026-98419 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-24 | 7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drop_monitor: fix out-of-bounds write in reset_per_cpu_data() In reset_per_cpu_data(), al is computed as: al = sizeof(struct net_dm_alert_msg); al += dm_hit_limit * sizeof(struct net_dm_drop_point); al += sizeof(struct nlattr); skb = genlmsg_new(al, GFP_KERNEL); ... nla = nla_reserve(skb, NLA_UNSPEC, sizeof(struct net_dm_alert_msg)); ... msg = nla_data(nla); memset(msg, 0, al); Because al includes sizeof(struct nlattr) (the 4-byte attribute header), genlmsg_new() allocates al bytes of tailroom starting at nla. However, msg points to nla_data(nla), which is located sizeof(struct nlattr) bytes past nla. Calling memset(msg, 0, al) therefore writes al bytes starting from msg, exceeding the allocated buffer by sizeof(struct nlattr) (4 bytes) and corrupting skb_shared_info. Fix this by letting al represent only the payload length, allocating the skb with genlmsg_new(nla_total_size(al), GFP_KERNEL), and zeroing al bytes from msg. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98867 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-24 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-pcache: bound the logical key offset from persistent memory cache_key_decode() takes a key's logical off from the cache device and later indexes req_key_tree->subtrees[] by it in get_subtree(). An off past the device forms a subtree pointer outside the array, which rb_insert() writes through during replay. Reject a key of zero length, or whose off+len (computed in 64 bits) exceeds the device size, before it is used. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98532 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-24 | 8.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: do not let ipv6_find_hdr() return an offset past the packet end ipv6_find_hdr() walks the extension header chain, skipping each header by the length that header itself declares. ipv6_optlen() returns up to 2048, and the skip is never checked against skb->len, so the offset stored in *offset can point past the end of the packet. openvswitch installs that offset as the transport header, and update_ipv6_checksum() then reads and writes the transport checksum field out of bounds: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in inet_proto_csum_replace16+0x445/0x470 Read of size 2 at addr ffff88810b754b06 by task ovs_ipv6_oob/629 CPU: 4 UID: 1000 PID: 629 Comm: ovs_ipv6_oob Tainted: G N 7.3.0-rc3+ #348 Call Trace: inet_proto_csum_replace16+0x445/0x470 set_ipv6_addr+0x3dd/0x460 do_execute_actions+0x6a3d/0x7c40 ovs_execute_actions+0xfd/0x480 ovs_packet_cmd_execute+0xc38/0xf20 genl_rcv_msg+0x59e/0x870 netlink_rcv_skb+0x18b/0x450 genl_rcv+0x2d/0x40 netlink_unicast+0x6bc/0xa20 The buggy address belongs to the object at ffff88810b754980 which belongs to the cache skbuff_small_head of size 704 The buggy address is located 390 bytes inside of freed 704-byte region [ffff88810b754980, ffff88810b754c40) Other callers use that offset too, so bound it here rather than in one caller. Reject a header whose declared length does not fit in the packet. ipv6_find_hdr() already fails with -EBADMSG on a malformed chain, so this adds no new failure mode. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98518 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-24 | 7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/nouveau/dmem: pin VRAM for the whole registered range Commit c32287471077 ("gpu/drm/nouveau: enable THP support for GPU memory migration") grew the device-private region that nouveau_dmem_chunk_alloc() registers from DMEM_CHUNK_SIZE to DMEM_CHUNK_SIZE * NR_CHUNKS, but left the VRAM buffer object backing that region at DMEM_CHUNK_SIZE. nouveau_dmem_page_addr() returns chunk->bo->offset plus the page's offset within the registered region, so every page past the first chunk resolves to VRAM outside the buffer object. Size the buffer object to the region it backs. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100231 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-24 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the GStreamer multimedia framework's ASF muxer plugin (asfmux). When writing string metadata tags containing Unicode characters outside the Basic Multilingual Plane (such as emoji) to an ASF container, the plugin incorrectly calculates the buffer size needed for the UTF-16LE representation. The size calculation assumes each Unicode code point requires 2 bytes, but non-BMP characters require 4 bytes (surrogate pairs). This leads to a heap out-of-bounds write when the actual UTF-16LE conversion is written into the undersized buffer. An attacker could exploit this by providing media with crafted metadata tags to an application that transcodes or remuxes to ASF format while preserving metadata, potentially causing a denial of service or limited memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98827 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-24 | 5.3 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath9k_htc: bound TX aggregation to MAX_TX_BUF_SIZE __hif_usb_tx() dequeues up to MAX_TX_AGGR_NUM (20) frames into a single tx_buf of MAX_TX_BUF_SIZE (32768) bytes, limiting the batch by record count but never by cumulative byte length. With large frames (MTU 2304), 20 aggregated frames of 2292 bytes each exceed the allocation (20 * 2296 = 45920 bytes), so the memcpy() in the loop writes up to 13152 bytes past tx_buf->buf before usb_submit_urb(). Peek the queue head and stop before copying any record that would cross MAX_TX_BUF_SIZE, then dispatch the current batch. Leftover skbs remain queued and are drained on the next URB completion. The byte bound changes the loop's exit semantics: it can now exit before i == tx_skb_cnt - 1. Stock only finalized tx_buf->len on that last index (len += offset), so an early break would submit a URB holding only the last record's length while every dequeued skb is freed on completion, silently dropping frames. Make tx_buf->len a running total and advance tx_buf->offset per record instead; the stride round_up(nskb->len + 4, 4) is identical to the stock stride when the loop runs to completion. Tested on hardware with an MTU 2304 flood: the loop stops at record 15 (len = 32144, offset = 32144, within 32768), no oversized URB is submitted, and MTU 1500 pings pass 20/20. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98848 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-24 | 4.1 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtc: ac100: Assign .num before accessing .hws Commit f316cdff8d67 ("clk: Annotate struct clk_hw_onecell_data with __counted_by") annotated the hws member of 'struct clk_hw_onecell_data' with __counted_by, which informs the bounds sanitizer (UBSAN_BOUNDS) about the number of elements in .hws[], so that it can warn when .hws[] is accessed out of bounds. As noted in that change, the __counted_by member must be initialized with the number of elements before the first array access happens, otherwise there will be a warning from each access prior to the initialization because the number of elements is zero. This occurs in ac100_rtc_register_clks() due to .num being assigned only after every clkout clock has been stored in .hws[]. With CONFIG_UBSAN_BOUNDS and a compiler that implements __counted_by (GCC 15.1+ or Clang 20.1+), this triggers an array-index-out-of-bounds report during probe, and with CONFIG_UBSAN_TRAP the first store traps. Initialize .num with AC100_CLKOUT_NUM, the number of elements .hws[] was allocated with, right after the allocation. That is the value the loop counter ends up at on the success path anyway, so the provider's behaviour is unchanged. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98808 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-24 | 6.7 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: systemport: Fix buffer overflow in bcm_sysport_get_stats() When running on SYSTEMPORT Lite, certain statistics are unsupported and skipped during bcm_sysport_get_stats(). The variable 'j' tracks the compacted index into the destination data buffer, whereas 'i' iterates over all elements in bcm_sysport_gstrings_stats. Because the buffer allocated by ethtool is sized only according to bcm_sysport_get_sset_count(), storing values at data[i] instead of data[j] writes past the allocated array bounds, leading to memory corruption. Fix this by writing to data[j] instead of data[i]. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106110 | 1 Sixlabors | 1 Imagesharp | 2026-10-24 | 7.5 High |
| ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 2.0.0 until 4.1.2, the TIFF CCITT Group 3 encoder allocates an undersized compressed-data buffer for narrow 1-bit images. TiffCcittCompressor.Initialize does not reserve enough space for the row data and T4 end-of-line codes, and T4BitCompressor.CompressStrip reaches unchecked writes when TiffCompression.CcittGroup3Fax is selected directly or inherited from decoded TIFF metadata. An attacker-controlled encode or decode-and-re-encode flow can write beyond the logical output span, corrupt process memory, and terminate the process. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2. | ||||
