An unprivileged application with access to the EVS manager can trigger this UAF by making concurrent calls to `setExtendedInfo` and `getExtendedInfo`, potentially enabling code execution within the privileged HAL process.
CVE-2026-42170 2 Gimp, Redhat 3 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els 2026-11-04 7.8 High
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the GIMP DDS (DirectDraw Surface) file parser. When a crafted DDS file declares a D3D9 pixel format but sets a lower bits-per-pixel (bpp) value in the header, the loader allocates an undersized heap buffer. Subsequent pixel data consumption at the real format's stride causes a write past the heap buffer boundary, leading to heap metadata corruption and potential code execution.
CVE-2026-43961 2 Redhat, Vim 6 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift and 3 more 2026-11-04 7.8 High
A flaw was found in Vim's netrw plugin. A crafted filename containing quote characters and expression fragments can break out of the quoted context during mark/unmark operations, allowing arbitrary Vimscript execution. This can be leveraged to run shell commands with the privileges of the user running Vim.
CVE-2026-4480 2 Redhat, Samba 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more 2026-11-04 9 Critical
A flaw was found in the Samba printing subsystem. Samba passes the client-controlled job description string to the command configured with the "print command" setting via the "%J" substitution character without escaping shell meta characters. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted print job description that contains unescaped shell characters. This could lead to remote code execution on the affected system.
CVE-2026-4424 2 Libarchive, Redhat 22 Libarchive, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 19 more 2026-11-04 7.5 High
A flaw was found in libarchive. This heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the RAR archive processing logic due to improper validation of the LZSS sliding window size after transitions between compression methods. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted RAR archive, leading to the disclosure of sensitive heap memory information without requiring authentication or user interaction.
CVE-2026-4408 2 Redhat, Samba 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more 2026-11-04 9 Critical
A flaw was found in Samba. A remote attacker can exploit a misconfiguration in Samba file servers and classic domain controllers that use the "check password script" feature. If this script is configured with the %u substitution character, the client-controlled username is passed without proper escaping of shell meta-characters. This vulnerability allows an attacker to achieve remote command execution on the affected system. This issue primarily affects non-standard configurations where the "check password script" is used with %u and the samba-dcerpcd service is started as a system service.
CVE-2026-42010 2 Gnu, Redhat 18 Gnutls, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 15 more 2026-11-04 7.1 High
A flaw was found in gnutls. Servers configured with RSA-PSK (Rivest–Shamir–Adleman – Pre-Shared Key) wrongfully matched usernames containing a NUL character with truncated usernames. A remote attacker could exploit this by sending a specially crafted username, leading to an authentication bypass. This vulnerability allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access by circumventing the authentication process.
CVE-2026-42009 2 Gnu, Redhat 28 Gnutls, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 25 more 2026-11-04 7.5 High
A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit an issue in the Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) packet reordering logic. The comparator function, responsible for ordering DTLS packets by sequence numbers, did not correctly handle packets with duplicate sequence numbers. This could lead to unstable packet ordering or undefined behavior, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2026-35093 3 Fedoraproject, Freedesktop, Redhat 4 Fedora, Libinput, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2026-11-04 8.8 High
A flaw was found in libinput. A local attacker who can place a specially crafted Lua bytecode file in certain system or user configuration directories can bypass security restrictions. This allows the attacker to run unauthorized code with the same permissions as the program using libinput, such as a graphical compositor. This could lead to the attacker monitoring keyboard input and sending that information to an external location.
CVE-2026-34003 2 Redhat, X.org 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 6 more 2026-11-04 7.8 High

This can lead to memory-safety violations and potentially a denial of service (DoS) or other severe impacts.
CVE-2026-33846 2 Gnu, Redhat 18 Gnutls, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 15 more 2026-11-04 7.5 High
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the DTLS handshake fragment reassembly logic of GnuTLS. The issue arises in merge_handshake_packet() where incoming handshake fragments are matched and merged based solely on handshake type, without validating that the message_length field remains consistent across all fragments of the same logical message. An attacker can exploit this by sending crafted DTLS fragments with conflicting message_length values, causing the implementation to allocate a buffer based on a smaller initial fragment and subsequently write beyond its bounds using larger, inconsistent fragments. Because the merge operation does not enforce proper bounds checking against the allocated buffer size, this results in an out-of-bounds write on the heap. The vulnerability is remotely exploitable without authentication via the DTLS handshake path and can lead to application crashes or potential memory corruption.
