The WavePlayer WordPress plugin before 3.8.0 does not have authorization in an AJAX action as well as does not validate the file to be copied locally, allowing unauthenticated users to upload arbitrary file on the server and lead to RCE
The "NagVis" component within Checkmk is vulnerable to remote code execution. An authenticated attacker with administrative level privileges is able to upload a malicious PHP file and modify specific settings to execute the contents of the file as PHP.
A filename spoofing vulnerability exists in WinRAR when opening specially crafted ZIP archives. The issue arises due to inconsistencies between the Central Directory and Local File Header entries in ZIP files. When viewed in WinRAR, the file name from the Central Directory is displayed to the user, while the file from the Local File Header is extracted and executed. An attacker can leverage this flaw to spoof filenames and trick users into executing malicious payloads under the guise of harmless files, potentially leading to remote code execution.
The AI Engine plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the rest_simpleFileUpload() function in versions 2.9.3 and 2.9.4. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server when the REST API is enabled, which may make remote code execution possible.
DreamMaker from Interinfo has a Path Traversal vulnerability and does not restrict the types of uploaded files. This allows unauthenticated remote attackers to upload arbitrary files to any directory, leading to arbitrary code execution by uploading webshells.
A vulnerability was found in feng_ha_ha/megagao ssm-erp and production_ssm up to 0.0.1. It has been classified as critical. This affects the function uploadFile of the file src/main/java/com/megagao/production/ssm/service/impl/FileServiceImpl.java. The manipulation of the argument uploadFile leads to unrestricted upload. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product is distributed under two entirely different names.
PDW File Browser 1.3 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows authenticated users to upload and rename webshell files to arbitrary web server locations. If a specially crafted file is uploaded by a remote authenticated attacker, arbitrary code may be executed on the product.
An unauthenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability exists in LibrettoCMS version 1.1.7 (and possibly earlier) contains an unauthenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability in its File Manager plugin. The upload handler located at adm/ui/js/ckeditor/plugins/pgrfilemanager/php/upload.php fails to properly validate file extensions, allowing attackers to upload files with misleading extensions and subsequently rename them to executable .php scripts. This enables remote code execution on the server without authentication.
