CVSS v3.1 |
| Mockoon provides way to design and run mock APIs. Prior to version 9.2.0, a mock API configuration for static file serving follows the same approach presented in the documentation page, where the server filename is generated via templating features from user input is vulnerable to Path Traversal and LFI, allowing an attacker to get any file in the mock server filesystem.
The issue may be particularly relevant in cloud hosted server instances. Version 9.2.0 fixes the issue. |
| On Unix systems (Linux, MacOS), Arc uses a temporary file with unsafe privileges.
By tampering with such file, a malicious local user in the system may be able to trigger arbitrary code execution with root privileges. |
| HIGH-LEIT V05.08.01.03 and HIGH-LEIT V04.25.00.00 to 4.25.01.01 for Windows from Vivavis contain an insecure file and folder permissions vulnerability in prunsrv.exe. A regular user (non-admin) can exploit the weak folder and file permissions to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. |
| Enables an authenticated user (enrolled device) to access a service protected by Sentry even if they are not authorized according to the sentry policy to access that service. It does not enable the user to authenticate to or use the service, it just provides the tunnel access. |
| LabVantage before LV 8.8.0.13 HF6 allows local file inclusion. Authenticated users can retrieve arbitrary files from the environment via the objectname request parameter. |
| aiomysql is a library for accessing a MySQL database from the asyncio. Prior to version 0.3.0, the client-side settings are not checked before sending local files to MySQL server, which allows obtaining arbitrary files from the client using a rogue server. It is possible to create a rogue MySQL server that emulates authorization, ignores client flags and requests arbitrary files from the client by sending a LOAD_LOCAL instruction packet. This issue has been patched in version 0.3.0. |
| NextVPN 4.10 contains an insecure file permissions vulnerability that allows local users to modify executable files with full access rights. Attackers can replace system executables with malicious files to gain SYSTEM or Administrator privileges through unauthorized file modification. |
| NVIDIA vGPU software contains a vulnerability in the Virtual GPU Manager, where it allows a guest to access global resources. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC IPC DiagBase (All versions), SIMATIC IPC DiagMonitor (All versions). The affected device do not properly restrict the user permission for the registry key. This could allow an authenticated attacker to load vulnerable drivers into the system leading to privilege escalation or bypassing endpoint protection and other security measures. |
| iStats contains an insecure XPC service that allows local, unprivileged users to escalate their privileges to root via command injection. This issue affects iStats: 7.10.4. |
| A low privileged remote attacker may modify the BACNet service properties due to incorrect permission assignment for critical resources which may lead to a DoS limited to BACNet communication. |
| Freedombox before 25.17.1 does not set proper permissions for the backups-data directory, allowing the reading of dump files of databases. |
| Dependency-Track is a component analysis platform that allows organizations to identify and reduce risk in the software supply chain. Dependency-Track allows users with the `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission to customize notification templates. Templates are evaluated using the Pebble template engine. Pebble supports an `include` tag, which allows template authors to include the content of arbitrary files upon evaluation. Prior to version 4.12.6, users of Dependency-Track with the `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission can abuse the `include` tag by crafting notification templates that `include` sensitive local files, such as `/etc/passwd` or `/proc/1/environ`. By configuring such a template for a notification rule (aka "Alert"), and having it send notifications to a destination controlled by the actor, sensitive information may be leaked. The issue has been fixed in Dependency-Track 4.12.6. In fixed versions, the `include` tag can no longer be used. Usage of the tag will cause template evaluation to fail. As a workaround, avoid assigning the `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission to untrusted users. The `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission per default is only granted to members of the `Administrators` team. Assigning this permission to non-administrative users or teams is a security risk in itself, and highly discouraged. |
| Nokia SR OS routers allow read-write access to the entire file system via SFTP or SCP for users configured with "access console." Consequently, a low privilege authenticated user with "access console" can read or replace the router configuration file as well as other files stored in the Compact Flash or SD card without using CLI commands. This type of attack can lead to a compromise or denial of service of the router after the system is rebooted. |
| Elevation of privileges via misconfigured access control list in GE HealthCare ultrasound devices |
| An Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in the file system used in B&R APROL <4.4-01 may allow an authenticated local attacker to read and alter the configuration of another engineering or runtime user. |
| An issue in the snxpcamd.sys component of SUNIX Multi I/O Card v10.1.0.0 allows attackers to perform arbitrary read and write actions via supplying crafted IOCTL requests. |
| An issue was discovered in Akamai Enterprise Application Access (EAA) before 2025-01-17. If an admin knows another tenant's 128-bit connector GUID, they can execute debug commands on that connector. |
| In Teltonika Networks RUTOS devices, running on versions 7.0 to 7.8 (excluding) and TSWOS devices running on versions 1.0 to 1.3 (excluding), due to incorrect permission handling a vulnerability exists which allows a lower privileged user with default permissions to access critical device resources via the API. |
| Linkwarden is a self-hosted, open-source collaborative bookmark manager to collect, organize and archive webpages. In version 2.10.2, the server accepts links of format file:///etc/passwd and doesn't do any validation before sending them to parsers and playwright, this can result in leak of other user's links (and in some cases it might be possible to leak environment secrets). This issue has been patched in version 2.10.3 which has not been made public at time of publication. |
