CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in DPDK lib/vhost. A double-offset bug in vhost log mapping calculation can lead to incorrect memory access. |
| An out-of-bounds read condition in the AMD Compressonator SDK could allow an attacker with local access to supply a specially crafted Truevision Advanced Raster Graphics Adapter (TGA) file to a user or an automated pipeline, potentially resulting in disclosure of sensitive heap memory contents or denial of service. |
| GNU Gatekeeper (gnugk) before 5.16 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in ParseRTCP() in ProxyChannel.cxx that allows remote RTP peers to read heap memory past received packets. Attackers can send RTCP SDES items lacking a NUL byte to the media proxy port during proxied H.323 calls with EnableRTCPStats enabled, crashing the gatekeeper. |
| Solanum before commit 2ea1382 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in ms_kill() that allows malicious linked servers to corrupt memory by sending an overlong kill reason. Attackers controlling a rogue or compromised peer server can send a reason exceeding KILLLEN that overflows a static 512-byte buffer, crashing the ircd or potentially achieving remote code execution. |
| Incomplete Comparison with Missing Factors (CWE-1023) in merge_chats() (whatstk/utils/chat_merge.py), reached from BaseChat.merge(), in whatstk from 0.3.0 before 0.9.0 allows a party that supplies the chat exports to cause messages to be absent from the merged output with no indication that anything was removed, because the merge keeps whole the chat whose first message is oldest and appends from the other only the messages that are strictly newer than the last message of the first. Every message of the second chat that falls inside the date range already covered by the first is therefore discarded. The two chats are compared on their date ranges and not on the identity of the individual messages, so a message held by only one of the two exports is dropped whenever its date falls inside the range of the other, and both branches of _merge_two_chats() behave this way. The merged result is returned without a warning and without a count of what was removed. This results in a merged chat that omits messages the inputs contain, in a library whose documented uses include forensic review and the generation of training data. |
| MongoDB Database Tools mongorestore incorrectly URL-decodes an original collection name read from metadata when the corresponding dump filename has been truncated. A database user who can create and populate a suitably encoded collection can cause a later authorized directory restore to write those documents into a different collection that the user cannot modify directly. When both collection names resolve to the same destination, backed-up documents may be omitted; use of --drop can also replace the unintended destination collection. Exploitation requires an operator to restore the affected collection from a directory dump with write access to the destination. This issue affects MongoDB Database Tools versions 100.0.2 through versions before 100.20.1. |
| An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination. |
| An issue was discovered in Django 6.1 before 6.1.3, 6.0 before 6.0.10, and 5.2 before 5.2.19.
`django.contrib.gis.forms.widgets.BaseGeometryWidget.deserialize()`, used by `django.contrib.gis.forms.GeometryField`, does not escape invalid submitted values before logging them, which allows remote attackers to inject or forge log entries via a crafted geometry value.
Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.1.x, 5.0.x, and 4.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected.
Django would like to thank Aaron chen for reporting this issue. |
| An integer overflow in the DDS RGB888 loader of AMD Compressonator SDK could allow an attacker to supply a crafted DDS file that causes an undersized heap allocation and a subsequent out-of-bounds read, potentially resulting in process termination or limited disclosure of heap memory. |
| In __pkvm_load_tracing of trace.c, there is a possible out-of-bounds write due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In multiple locations, there is a possible out of bounds read/write due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In multiple locations, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an integer overflow. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In is_valid_header of timed_cache_item.c, there is a possible out-of-bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| Monitoring Plugins is a suite of plugins for monitoring applications. From 3.0.0-rc1 until 3.0.1, check_icmp stores the number of hosts supplied through -H or --Host on the command line, or through --extra-opts files containing Host= entries, in an unsigned short. More than 65,535 hosts wrap the counter, causing process_arguments() to allocate an undersized hosts array and then write subsequent entries out of bounds before main() calls setuid(getuid()). On installations where check_icmp is setuid root, a local low-privileged attacker can corrupt heap memory while the process still has root privileges; reliable privilege escalation has not been demonstrated. Installations that use cap_net_raw file capabilities instead of setuid are not exposed to the privilege-escalation consequence. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.1. |
| An integer overflow was found in Corosync's handling of membership commit token messages. The length-validation check for these messages can be bypassed on 32-bit systems due to an integer overflow in the calculation of the expected message length, allowing a crafted network packet to trigger an out-of-bounds memory access that crashes the Corosync daemon. This results in a denial of service for the affected cluster node. The overflow does not occur on 64-bit systems, where the length calculation is correctly performed in 64-bit arithmetic. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Elo is a purely functional expression language for no-code tools. Prior to 1.0.1, plain Elo strings supplied to defaultFormats.elo.parse(), bin/elo, or elo-lang.org/try can use .constructor.constructor to reach JavaScript Function because the member_access handler in src/transform.ts does not reject meta-properties, src/compilers/javascript.ts emits the surviving property directly, and src/parser.ts accepts constructor as an ordinary identifier. The resulting generated JavaScript executes attacker-selected code in the host runtime. This permits browser script execution and session compromise on the auto-running playground and arbitrary Node.js code execution on library, CI, or DevOps hosts. This plain-string path is distinct from the programmatic AST-object injection issue. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Mark syscall helpers as sleepable
bpf_sys_bpf() executes the bpf(2) syscall body, which can take mutexes,
allocate with GFP_KERNEL, and wait for an RCU grace period.
bpf_sys_close() reaches close_fd() and filp_close(), which can sleep as
well.
Both helpers are limited to BPF_PROG_TYPE_SYSCALL, whose main program is
sleepable. That does not make every callback sleepable: a syscall program
can register a bpf_timer callback, and the verifier checks that callback
in a non-sleepable context while retaining the syscall helper set.
Without .might_sleep on the prototypes, such a callback can invoke
bpf_sys_bpf() from hrtimer softirq context and trigger a
scheduling-while-atomic failure. bpf_sys_close() is exposed through the
same missing context check.
Set .might_sleep on both prototypes so the existing helper-context check
rejects them from timer callbacks and other atomic regions. Calls from the
sleepable main body remain valid. |
| A flaw was found in the GStreamer JPEG 2000 decimator in gst-plugins-bad. Crafted JPEG 2000 media can cause integer overflows or division by zero during tile processing. An application that processes the malicious media may crash, resulting in a denial of service. |
| Incorrect boundary conditions in the Layout: Block and Inline component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 159.0.1. |
