CVSS v3.1 |
| The ONVIF service on the E3 can be rendered unresponsive by sending malformed or incomplete requests to certain operations. The affected service stops accepting new connections while the rest of the device continues operating normally, and will recover automatically after a period. This can be triggered repeatedly by any unauthenticated party with network access to the device. |
| libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session. Prior to 1.6.2, alternateArrayAccess in src/mms/iso_mms/server/mms_read_service.c does not validate an alternate-access sub-array range when numberOfElements is greater than zero. An out-of-range MmsValue_getElement call returns NULL, and the sub-array branch passes that value to MmsValue_isDeletable, causing a NULL pointer dereference. A remote MMS Read request can therefore crash servers whose data models contain arrays, while the single-element error path handles the same invalid index safely. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.2. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: arm64: Do not clear VM-wide SVE feature on vCPU init failure
pkvm_vcpu_init_sve() clears KVM_ARM_VCPU_SVE in kvm->arch.vcpu_features
when it fails, but vcpu_has_sve() tests KVM_ARCH_FLAG_GUEST_HAS_SVE,
which is left set. Later vCPUs on that VM then skip the SVE setup and
register with a NULL sve_state, which the guest's first FP access hands
to sve_load_state().
Return the error without touching vcpu_features. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
eth: fbnic: reset num_napi when the napi vectors are freed
fbn->num_napi is the count of live napi vectors, each of which owns an
IRQ. The PM path had freed them without clearing the count.
fbnic_pm_suspend() tears the datapath down via ndo_stop() and frees the
IRQs, but leaves netif_running() true so resume knows to re-open. Resume
rebuilds the datapath in __fbnic_pm_resume() and fbnic_reset_queues() sets
num_napi and __fbnic_open() re-allocates the vectors.
When the datapath is torn down but never rebuilt, num_napi is left
pointing at freed vectors under 2 different scenarios:
- a PCIe error recovery that fails (fbnic_err_slot_reset() ->
__fbnic_pm_resume() returns an error -> PCI_ERS_RESULT_DISCONNECT), so
.resume never runs; or
- an __fbnic_open() that fails partway on resume and unwinds, freeing
the vectors after fbnic_reset_queues() has already set num_napi.
The netdev is then running with num_napi > 0 but napi[] freed, and the
eventual remove/unbind close re-enters fbnic_down() -> fbnic_dbg_down()
and dereferences the freed vectors:
BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000210
RIP: fbnic_dbg_down+0x28
Clear num_napi when the vectors are freed: in the suspend teardown (a
good resume re-establishes it before __fbnic_open()) and on the resume
open failure. A redundant ndo_stop() then walks an empty napi[]. The
normal ndo_stop() down/up cycle is untouched and keeps num_napi for the
next ndo_open(). |
| A NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (RPD) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a configured peer sending a BGP UPDATE to cause a denial of service when an import policy with `then source-based-forwarding next-hop next-table <X>` is configured to reference a routing table that does not exist. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: adc: pac1934: check ACPI label duplication
A label duplication failure currently reaches the terminating-byte
write. Release the ACPI result and abort before accessing the missing
label; earlier labels are managed by devres.
Detected by static analysis and reviewed with AI-assisted source auditing. |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. Importing a crafted SBZ palette without a color-model attribute can cause a NULL pointer dereference during string comparison, resulting in denial of service of the GIMP application. |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the generic routing encapsulation (GRE) tunnel decapsulation feature of the Snort 3 Detection Engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an unexpected restart of the Snort 3 Detection Engine.
This vulnerability is due to improper handling of nested GRE traffic. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted GRE payload through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to trigger an unexpected reload of the Snort 3 Detection Engine, resulting in either a bypass or denial of service (DoS) condition, depending on device configuration. For more information, see the section of this advisory. The Snort 3 Detection Engine will restart automatically. No manual intervention is required. |
| Photoshop Desktop is affected by a NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability that could result in an application denial-of-service. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to crash the application, leading to a denial-of-service condition. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
watchdog: msc313e: Fix NULL pointer dereference in PM callbacks
msc313e_wdt_probe() doesn't set the driver data for the platform device.
As a result, dev_get_drvdata() in msc313e_wdt_suspend() and
msc313e_wdt_resume() will return NULL, leading to a NULL pointer
dereference afterward.
Set the platform device driver data in msc313e_wdt_probe(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: mpi3mr: Fix NULL pointer dereference in mpi3mr_sas_port_add()
sas_port_alloc_num() can return NULL on memory allocation failure. The
return value is passed directly to sas_port_add() without a NULL check,
which causes a NULL pointer dereference.
Additionally, if sas_port_add() fails, the allocated port is not freed
before jumping to out_fail, leaking the sas_port structure. Call
sas_port_free() to properly release it. |
| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco Expressway Series software engineering team has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in software hardening releases that address multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities.
The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-76492 are related to issues concerning null pointers that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) Base CWE-476. |

| A BIND resolver that is configured with both a "redirect" zone and "qname-minimization strict" may abort with an assertion failure while processing the redirect.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.16.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.29, 9.21.0 through 9.21.26, 9.16.8-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.29-S1. |
| Adobe Framemaker is affected by a NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability that could result in an application denial-of-service. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to crash the application, leading to a denial-of-service condition. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| HarfBuzz from 8.0.0 through 14.6.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the experimental WebAssembly shaper host imports buffer_set_contents, face_create, and font_set_coords. Attackers can supply a crafted font whose embedded wasm module passes out-of-range addresses with non-zero lengths, crashing any application that shapes text with the font. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: ethernet: mtk_eth_soc: allocate dummy netdev sooner
The RX rings and the shared NAPI are carried by an internal "dummy" netdev
(eth->dummy_dev). mtk_probe() creates that dummy device, and adds the
shared tx/rx NAPI to it, only after the MAC netdevs have been registered.
That order has been there since the MT7623 support was added and leaves a
window in which the netdevs are visible to the network core before the
shared NAPI and the dummy device exist.
If anything brings the first netdev up during that window (e.g. netifd
opening the WAN link the instant the interface is registered), the
first-open path runs without them. On NETSYS v2 and later SoCs
mtk_rx_alloc() -> __xdp_rxq_info_reg() then dereferences eth->dummy_dev ==
NULL:
WARNING: CPU: ... Missing net_device from driver
in net/core/xdp.c and mtk_open() fails with -ENODEV. On NETSYS v1 SoCs
(MT7621/MT7622/MT7623/MT7629) there is no page pool, so the same open
instead calls napi_enable() on a napi_struct that netif_napi_add() has not
initialised yet and dereferences a NULL napi->dev.
Allocate the dummy netdev and add the shared tx/rx NAPI to it before the
register_netdev() loop. Both the dummy-allocation failure and a
register_netdev() failure now unwind through mtk_unreg_dev(), which
unregisters the net_device notifiers and the netdevs registered so far,
stopping a concurrently-opened netdev (ndo_stop) and its NAPI before the
dummy carrier is freed.
A netdev that opened during the window can also have queued the
frame-engine reset worker (via the tx watchdog or phylink), so the probe
error path now cancels eth->pending_work before freeing the shared state,
as mtk_cleanup() already does on remove. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: x86/mmu: Bail from shadow walks if the root is invalid or a dummy
When walking shadow page tables, immediately terminate the walk if the root
is a "dummy" root, i.e. a root whose top-level page table is backed by the
zero page, but otherwise doesn't exist. If memslot creation races with a
stage-2 page fault (EPT violation or #NPF) from L2, then if the stars align,
KVM will attempt to walk shadow page tables using the zero page and hit a
NULL pointer deref.

Don't WARN in the dummy root case as the whole point of using a dummy root
is to provide a root that's valid enough to enter the guest, i.e. it should
Just Work for all flows except those that *need* to know about dummy roots.
Alternatively, KVM could allocate a dedicated page and associated shadow
page structure for the dummy root, which is very tempting as it such an
approach should be more resilient against unexpected behavior. But that
would be a much larger and thus riskier change than simply terminating
walks of dummy roots. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: health: max30102: fix NULL dereference in interrupt handler
The interrupt is requested in max30102_probe() and stays enabled
for the lifetime of the device, but indio_dev->active_scan_mask is only
valid while a buffer is enabled. When an interrupt arrives while no
buffer is enabled, the handler dereferences the NULL active_scan_mask:

Call max30102_fifo_count() at the top of the handler and return early
unless it reports a FIFO sample is ready. Because FIFO_RDY is the only
interrupt source enabled in max30102_chip_init(), an invocation of
max30102_interrupt_handler() without the FIFO_RDY interrupt status bit
set carries no data to read and can return before touching
active_scan_mask. A negative return from max30102_fifo_count()
indicates a failed interrupt status read and is treated the same way. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: ISO: lock sk in iso_connect_ind
Accessing iso_pi(sk)->conn requires lock_sock, which is not taken in the
"ev3" part of iso_connect_ind. It may also be NULL if socket has
transitioned away from the LISTEN/CONNECT states before locking.
Fix by adding lock/release. Recheck hcon is valid after lock acquire
where needed. |
