| CVE-2026-98876 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-26 | 4.1 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: host1x: bus: Fix missing ops null check in error teardown In host1x_device_init(), the error teardown paths do not check client->ops before dereferencing it, unlike the forward init paths which correctly guard with 'client->ops &&'. This can result in a NULL pointer dereference if client->ops is NULL. Fix by adding the missing client->ops check in both the teardown and teardown_late labels. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98875 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-26 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/nouveau/gsp: add SEC2 to GA100 chip table The booter-load and booter-unload firmware run on the SEC2 falcon. During tu102_gsp_oneinit(), the booter constructor needs device->sec2 to access the SEC2 falcon. Without the .sec2 entry, device->sec2 is NULL and this dereference crashes during GSP-RM boot. | ||||
| CVE-2025-60477 | 1 Gpac | 1 Mp4box | 2026-10-26 | 5 Medium |
| A NULL pointer dereference in the gf_filter_pid_resolve_file_template_ex function (/filter_core/filter_pid.c) of GPAC Project/MP4Box before 26.02.0 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted file. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107169 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-25 | 6.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in m17n-lib. An attacker could provide specially crafted or truncated UTF-8 input to trigger an unhandled null pointer dereference during text processing. This issue causes the application to crash unexpectedly, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-108063 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-25 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libhangul. When parsing Hanja dictionary files, the library fails to verify that an entry contains a valid value alongside its key. By providing a specially crafted dictionary file to an application that queries it, an attacker can trigger an unexpected application crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-98941 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-24 | 7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: don't enable large folios on encrypted inodes Commit 709f0f1f1bf5 ("ext4: add checks for large folio incompatibilities when BS > PS") disables large folios at mount time if the "encrypt" feature is set. However, enabling that feature on a mounted filesystem circumvents that check, and writing encrypted data results in a crash: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000028 Workqueue: ext4-rsv-conversion ext4_end_io_rsv_work RIP: 0010:ext4_finish_bio+0xf7/0x3e0 Call Trace: ext4_release_io_end+0x51/0x110 ext4_end_io_end+0x4c/0xe0 ext4_end_io_rsv_work+0xb3/0x100 Fix this by disabling large folios on encrypted inodes, as is already done for inodes that use data journaling. This affects all kernels between v6.19 and v7.2, but it is not needed in v7.3, where the code was significantly refactored. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98510 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-24 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/vm: nuke PTs only after unlinking contested VMAs In xe_vm_close_and_put(), external-BO VMAs are queued on the contested list for deferred destruction via xe_vma_destroy_unlocked(). However, xe_vm_pt_destroy() was previously invoked before processing contested VMAs, destroying vm->pt_root while those VMAs were still linked to their respective buffer objects (vm_bo->list.gpuva). If a concurrent thread evicts one of those shared buffer objects, xe_bo_trigger_rebind() holding only bo->resv walks the BO's VMAs and, in fault mode, calls xe_vm_invalidate_vma() -> xe_pt_zap_ptes(). Because vm->pt_root[tile->id] is already NULL, dereferencing pt->level causes a NULL ptr deref. Fix this by deferring xe_vm_free_scratch() and xe_vm_pt_destroy() until after all contested VMAs have been unlinked and destroyed. User is reporting hitting a NULL ptr deref in xe_pt_zap_ptes(), which could be explained by this race. (cherry picked from commit c2863648959489767f08892fd6e90577d2ea0b6a) | ||||
| CVE-2026-99087 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-24 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-integrity: fix NULL pointer dereference when the 'R' flag is used If the dm-integrity device has the SB_FLAG_DIRTY_BITMAP flag set and the user activates the device in the 'R' mode, a crash in dm_integrity_resume happens because the function attempts to read the journal containing the bitmap. This patch makes dm-integrity skip any writes to the device in dm_integrity_resume if the device is activated in the 'R' mode. | ||||
| CVE-2026-79976 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2026-10-23 | 7.1 High |
| The MCTP-over-I2C+GPIO target binding in subsys/pmci/mctp/mctp_i2c_gpio_target.c emulates a small pseudo-register file, where the bus controller first writes a register number and then writes or reads payload bytes. The selected register (b->reg_addr) and the data-phase flag (b->rxtx) were never cleared when the controller issued an I2C STOP, so after a completed transfer the target still had a data register selected while the packet buffer that register refers to had already been consumed and set to NULL by mctp_i2c_gpio_target_stop(). A controller on the bus can re-enter the same branch of mctp_i2c_gpio_target_stop() with a NULL buffer using two ordinary transactions and no authentication: first a normal packet write to MCTP_I2C_GPIO_RX_MSG_ADDR followed by STOP (which delivers and frees b->rx_pkt), then a bare read transaction followed by STOP. The failing read_requested() call leaves the stale state untouched and the I2C driver still delivers the STOP callback, which then calls mctp_bus_rx() with a NULL packet. The symmetric case exists on the transmit side, where the stale MCTP_I2C_GPIO_TX_MSG_ADDR selection dereferences b->tx_pkt->end after b->tx_pkt has been cleared and additionally signals b->tx_complete a second time, causing the next outbound packet to be dropped. The dereference happens in the I2C target interrupt handler, so on any target that traps accesses to address 0 the result is a fatal exception and a device reset or halt — a denial of service inflicted by any device able to act as controller on the shared management bus (for example compromised firmware on a peer MCTP endpoint or on the BMC). On parts where address 0 is readable, the impact degrades to a malformed packet buffer being handed to the MCTP stack and lost transmit packets. No attacker-controlled value is written and no confidentiality or integrity boundary is crossed. The fix resets b->reg_addr to MCTP_I2C_GPIO_INVALID_ADDR and clears b->rxtx at every STOP, so a new register must be selected before any data phase can run again. Only builds that opt into the experimental CONFIG_MCTP subsystem with CONFIG_MCTP_I2C_GPIO_TARGET=y are affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112381 | 2 Apache, Apache Software Foundation | 3 Apache Traffic Server, Traffic Server, Apache Traffic Server | 2026-10-23 | 5.9 Medium |
| Apache Traffic Server can crash with a null pointer dereference when a client POST request is torn down via half-close while a chunked origin response is being reparsed from a reentrant write-ready callback, a timing-dependent race introduced by the CVE-2021-32564 flow-control backports. This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: 9.2.15, 10.1.4, 10.2.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.16, 10.1.5, or 10.2.1, which fix the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99055 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 5.9 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: reject net_iov in zerocopy receive mapping hints After copying a readable prefix, receive_fallback_to_copy() asks tcp_zerocopy_set_hint_for_skb() where page mapping can resume. If the next skb is unreadable, find_next_mappable_frag() passes its net_iov fragment to can_map_frag(). skb_frag_page() returns NULL for a net_iov, but can_map_frag() dereferences it in PageCompound(). A v7.2 KASAN run on a connected TCP socket with 64 readable bytes followed by a 4096-byte NET_IOV_DMABUF fragment reported: BUG: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in can_map_frag tcp_zerocopy_receive -> can_map_frag Kernel panic - not syncing: KASAN: panic_on_warn set The diagnostic inserted the net_iov directly because the test host has no devmem-capable NIC. Hardware end-to-end reachability remains untested and requires CONFIG_NET_DEVMEM plus a supported DMA-buf-bound RX queue. Reject all net_iov fragments before skb_frag_page(). This covers both DMABUF and IOURING net_iov types while leaving page-backed checks unchanged. With the guard, the same queue copied the readable prefix, returned a 4096-byte skip hint, and completed without a fault. | ||||

At the NIP in phy_link_topo_add_phy() is a netdev_need_ops_lock() check. This was added by the following commit ded86da4bbb7 ("net: ethtool: relax ethnl_req_get_phydev() locking assertion") The bug shows up because at the time of_phy_connect() was called, the netdev_ops were *not yet* determined. My fix is to move the code that sets netdev_ops+commac.ops+ethtool_ops further up as emac_init_config() derives that by looking at the device-tree and sets the required dev->phy_mode accordingly. During review, the Sashiko bot's AI stated that the commac assignment became a dead store. Great catch! To keep the original behavior as-is, one mentioned option "set dev->commac.ops = &emac_commac_ops only in the non-gige case?" sounded like a great plan. So the dev->commac.ops assignment for the non-gige-case moves into the else block. This patch was tested on a WD MyBook Live (RGMII). the device now works again. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57486 | 2 Pupnp, Pupnp Project | 2 Pupnp, Pupnp | 2026-10-23 | 7.5 High |
| pupnp is an SDK for development of UPnP device and control point applications. Prior to 2.0.2, ixmlNode_compare in ixml/src/node.c passes the nullable nodeValue, namespaceURI, prefix, and localName fields directly to strcmp. Non-namespaced attributes created by ixmlDocument_createAttribute legitimately leave those fields NULL. When ixmlElement_removeAttributeNode compares two distinct attribute objects with the same nodeName through find_condition_node, the pointer-identity shortcut does not apply and the comparison dereferences NULL, causing a process crash when application handling of attacker-controlled XML reaches this path. This issue is fixed in 2.0.2. | ||||
| CVE-2023-6915 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 24 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Codeready Linux Builder and 21 more | 2026-10-23 | 6.2 Medium |
| A Null pointer dereference problem was found in ida_free in lib/idr.c in the Linux Kernel. This issue may allow an attacker using this library to cause a denial of service problem due to a missing check at a function return. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100348 | 1 Getkin | 1 Kin-openapi | 2026-10-23 | 5.3 Medium |
| kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. Prior to 0.145.0, openapi3.Loader can dereference a nil SchemaRef.Value while resolving a self-referential additionalProperties JSON Reference such as a schema that points to its own additionalProperties member. Loading an attacker-controlled OpenAPI document through LoadFromData, LoadFromFile, or LoadFromURI reaches resolveComponent before document validation and can panic the loading process. Resolved additionalProperties schemas and ordinary recursive schemas do not take the vulnerable nil-value path. This issue is fixed in version 0.145.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100349 | 1 Getkin | 1 Kin-openapi | 2026-10-23 | 7.5 High |
| kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. Prior to 0.146.0, openapi3filter.ValidateResponse passes a nil response header schema to decodeValue when an OpenAPI document declares the header with content instead of schema. The document passes validation, but every response validation for the affected operation dereferences the nil schema and panics even when the response does not contain the declared header. Applications that ingest an untrusted specification can expose this as remote availability impact, while applications using only trusted local specifications still crash when the affected operation is exercised. This issue is fixed in version 0.146.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100352 | 1 Getkin | 1 Kin-openapi | 2026-10-23 | 7.5 High |
| kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. Prior to 0.148.0, the OpenAPI 3.1 validation path passes YAML NaN and infinity numeric values to santhosh-tekuri/jsonschema v6.0.2 without applying kin-openapi's existing finite-number guards. A remote unauthenticated client can send an application/yaml or application/x-yaml request body containing .nan, .inf, or -.inf to an operation with a numeric constraint, causing the dependency to create and dereference a nil big.Rat during ValidateRequest. Standard net/http servers recover the panic per connection, while other hosts or application goroutines may terminate the process. This issue is fixed in version 0.148.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-110491 | 1 Kiloview | 1 E3 Firmware | 2026-10-23 | 7.5 High |
| The ONVIF service on the E3 can be rendered unresponsive by sending malformed or incomplete requests to certain operations. The affected service stops accepting new connections while the rest of the device continues operating normally, and will recover automatically after a period. This can be triggered repeatedly by any unauthenticated party with network access to the device. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48741 | 1 Mz-automation | 1 Libiec61850 | 2026-10-23 | 7.5 High |
| libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session. Prior to 1.6.2, alternateArrayAccess in src/mms/iso_mms/server/mms_read_service.c does not validate an alternate-access sub-array range when numberOfElements is greater than zero. An out-of-range MmsValue_getElement call returns NULL, and the sub-array branch passes that value to MmsValue_isDeletable, causing a NULL pointer dereference. A remote MMS Read request can therefore crash servers whose data models contain arrays, while the single-element error path handles the same invalid index safely. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.2. | ||||
